She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Spencer Jennings and Mattie Roope Jennings; her husband E. Paris Kilby; her sister Betty Jean Jennings Lankford; and her brother-in-law Donald John Lankford.
She is survived by: her nephew Van Lankford (Ann) of Mount Airy, NC; her great-niece Molly Hudson (Alan) of State Road, NC; her great-nephew Evan Lankford (Jessie) of Huntersville, NC; her close friends, Gladys McGlamery, Jane Shoemaker, Helen Stanley and Carolyn Darnell; and also, Savannah, Allie Hudson and Reagan Lankford.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Home (735 Pleasant Home Church Rd, Millers Creek, NC 28651). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Lawn Memorial Park - N. Wilkesboro (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorials be made to Pleasant Home Baptist Church.
