She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pierce and Lily Marie Eastridge Pierce; her siblings, Patsy Allen, Francis Pierce, Barbara Miller, Willie Pierce and Walter Pierce; and her brother-in-law James Osborne.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Dean Miller; her children, Bryan Scott Miller (Kim) of Caswell County and Sandra Deanette Miller of Millers Creek; her siblings, Mary Lee Osborne of Creston, Deane Childress of Lansing, Evelena Shrader of Creston, Ruth Mahala (Jim) of Creston, Sandra Huffman of Millers Creek and Ray Pierce of Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Ryan Dean Pruitt and Emerie Baye Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
