It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Bumgarner of Millers Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zoye Wood and Elsie Crabb Wood; her husband Jimmy Leander Bumgarner; her daughter Sherri Jean Bumgarner; and her siblings, Virginia Wood, Sherrill Lee Wood and Clayton Wood.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Harrold (Wayne) and Debbie Felts (Gwyn); and her siblings, Bertha Wood Anderson (Robert), Betty Billings, Judy Bauguess (Allen), Frances Church, Kathy Wood and Melvin Wood.
