It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Brooks Rash of Millers Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude C. Brooks, Sr. and Cilla Rhoades Brooks; her husband Linville "Jack" Rash; and her children, Batina McKinney and Eugene "Gene" Rash.
She is survived by: her sons, David Rash (Martha) of Millers Creek and Kevin Rash (Savaya) of Cornelius; her grandchildren, Leanna Cheek (Chris), Kara Rinehart (Todd), Brennan McKinney (Leanna), Natasha Shumate (Brad Calloway), Stacie Beshears (Dennis Smith), Sandy Combs and D. J. Rash; her great grandchildren, Dylan Shumate, Joseph Cheek, Wesley Cheek, Ben Rinehart, Ava Rinehart, Bryson McKinney and Lillian McKinney; and her siblings, Ann Smith of New Jersey and C. C.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
