She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Abraham and Annie Bess Dancy Sheets; her spouse Odell Luther; her son Timmy Luther; and her siblings, Burl Sheets, Kyle Sheets, Don Sheets, Carrie Dancy and Loraine Baity.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Luther (Faye) of Elkin, Carene Eller (Chris) of Ferguson, Helen Minton (Donnie) of Stony Point and Sandra Luther; and her sister Corrine Spears of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
