He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lee Wayne Davis; his daughter Kimberly Collins (Wade) of Boomer; his grandchildren, Lindsay Collins, Heather Collins Love and Taylor Hamby; his great grandchildren, Henry Love and Noah Love; and his sister Carol Privette of Chapel Hill.
