He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Derwood and Marjoree Lambert Lackey; his grandparents, Paul, Lorene Lambert, Sherman and Thelma Lackey; his brothers, Timothy Lackey and Stephan Lambert Lackey; his spouse Kim Lackey; his stepfather Marjoree Lambert Mathena (Edward) of North Wilkesboro; his niece Jennifer Foster (Chad) of Wilkesboro; his nephew James Lackey of North Wilkesboro; his sister-in-law Sharri Porter of North Wilkesboro; and his stepdaughters, Heather Lawson (Donovan) of Millers Creek and Vickie Anderson (Nathan) of North Wilkesboro.
