She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward "Ed" Summerlin Sr and Georgie Pearl "Bobbie" Lovette; her daughter Tonya "Sunshine" Walsh; her sister Judy Johnson; and her grandson Jayln Walsh.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Broyhill; her children, Shawn Walsh of Wilkesboro and Tammy Walsh of Wilkesboro; her brothers, James E. Summerlin and David Allen Summerlin (Kim); and her grandchildren, Justin Walsh (Asia Castilleja) of Millers Creek, Harleigh Walsh of Millers Creek and Baileigh Walsh of Millers Creek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
