He was predeceased by: his father Isthmul Walter Adams. He is survived by: his wife Rita Carol Miller Adams; his daughter Denise Adams Eller (Billy) of Millers Creek; his mother Willa Dean Kilby Adams; his grandchildren, Amanda Shumate (David) and Adam Eller (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Blake Shumate, Isabella Shumate and Audree Eller; and his siblings, Judy Shumate of Nashville, TN, Brenda Harris (Randy) of Traphill and David Adams (Teresa) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
