It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Roten Griffin of Millers Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vear Roten and Nannie Walker Roten. She is survived by: her husband Willard Griffin; her daughters, Annette Absher (Randy) of North Wilkesboro, Nannette Killen (Randy) of Lexington and Michelle Hardy (Kelly) of Fleetwood; her close friend Wanda Blevins of Millers Creek; and her grandchildren, Nathan Byrd (Samantha) of Hudson, Stephanie Byrd of North Wilkesboro, Breanna Bratton of Wilkesboro, Kala Byrd of North Wilkesboro, Thomas Dyer (Tara) of Ferguson, Madison Church of North Wilkesboro, Stephen Church of North Wilkesboro, Victoria Dyer of Millers Creek, Christian Hardy of Fleetwood and Andrea Hardy of Fleetwood. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
