We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024, at the age of 64, Gladys Marie Church of Millers Creek, North Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Asby Fernando and Ruby Gladys Mann Blunt; and her brother Henry "Petie" Carroll Blunt. She is survived by: her daughters, Hope Joseph (Shane) of Valdosta, Georgia and Crystal Shaffner (Nick) of Millers Creek; her grandchildren, Christian Kurtich, Paige Duncan, Logan Shaffner, Kara Shaffner and Callen Shaffner; and her siblings, Lorraine Smith of North Wilkesboro, Shirley Prescott (Bill) of Newport News, Virginia and Cecil Blunt of Millers Creek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
