He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Perry and Hazel Royal Perry; his wife Freda Roten Perry; and his siblings, Mary Jane Long, Maggie Key and Arvil Perry.
He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Jennings (Darrell) of Millers Creek; his stepson Chris Yates (Heather) of Hamptonville; his sister Helen Watkins (Fred) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Lacy Cave (Marty) of Statesville, Hayley Gregory (Austin) of Wilkesboro, Amy Jennings of Millers Creek, Samantha Jennings of Millers Creek, James Yates of Jonesville and Brooke Yates of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Charity Bowlin of Wilkesboro, Ivy Bowlin of Wilkesboro, Emma Jennings of Millers Creek and Canyon Jennings of Millers Creek.
