Delores Horton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Horton of Millers Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delores Horton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Foster (Walter James) and Vergie Esta Foster (Dillard); her husband William Donald Horton (Bucky); and her close friend Tommy Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Donna Horton-Berry (Elizabeth) of East Bend, NC, Diane Horton Galloway (Scott), William Donald Horton (Bill) of Liberty, SC and John Brown (Shirley) of Millers Creek; her grandchildren, William Allen Horton, Trent Cleary (Samantha Kate) of Raleigh, NC, Ellen Dayton (Jimmy) of Garner, NC, William Donald Horton III (Will) of Liberty, SC and Hanna Horton of Columbia; and her sisters, Chris Myers of Winston Salem, Gayle Foster of Wilkesboro and Teresa Broyhill (Dale) of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, dozens of cousins, hundreds of friends.
COVID happened around the same time that she began needing help in her home and she chose to move in with her daughter Donna to quarantine.
