She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Stamey and Esta Leigh Moore Stamey; and her brother-in-law Rev. Don Phillips. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Stamey Phillips of Asheboro; her nieces, Callie Phillips (Shelly Phillips) of Kannapolis and Kathryn Thill (Jonathan); her great-nephews, Jackson of Asheboro and Remi Thill of Asheboro; and her close friend Ann Williams of Millers Creek.
