He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Douglas Brown; his children, Kimberly Taylor (Terry) of McGrady and Ritchie Holbrook (Heather) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Kandace Thorley (Terry), Rylee Moretz (James), Sydni Griffith (Austin) and Ross Holbrook; his great grandchild James Griffith; and his siblings, Joyce Hill of Charlotte and Tony Brown (Genia) of Millers Creek.
