He is survived by: his daughter Martha Shumate; his son-in-law Randy Shumate; his son Mike Faw; his granddaughter Jennifer Shumate Church; his wife Ella Mae Faw; his children, Carolyn Shumate (Michael), Brenda Day (Philip Broyhill), Patricia Wingler and Scottie Faw; and his grandchildren, Renee Shumate, Sandy Romero, Jessica Faw, Zane Faw, Heather Faw, Chase Shumate, Brandon Day, Shawn Day, Brandy Wingler, Joshua Faw and Adam Faw. He is also survived by four stepchildren, ten step-grandchildren, and nineteen step-great grandchildren.
