He was predeceased by: his parents, Zollie Thomas and Isado Cleary Bumgarner; his wife Louise Joines Bumgarner; and his siblings, Elsie Faw, Dare Palmer Jennings, Faye Johnson and Zollie Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his son Steve Bumgarner (Susan) of Cornelius; his grandchildren, Jessica Outterson (Tiger), Will Bumgarner (Samantha) and Daniel Bumgarner (Bonnie); and his great grandchildren, Cruise Outterson, Ashton Outterson, Riley Bumgarner, Chloe Bumgarner, Harper Louise Bumgarner and Lillian Bumgarner.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church Cemetery-Mc (420 Colvard Rd, Millers Creek, NC 28651).
