He is survived by: his parents, Julius Ray and Bessie Louise Hart Vanhoy; his wife Betty Jean Shepherd Vanhoy; and his daughters, Gladys Mollinedo (Harold) of Greensboro, Alisha Sheets (Daniel) of Ferguson, Melissa Bowlin of Purlear and Billie Beavers (Mikey) of Traphill. He is also survived by many grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
