She was predeceased by: her parents, Larkin Hackett and Della Blanche Pierce Shepherd; her husband Everette Lyall, Jr. of Millers Creek; and her sisters, Dorothy Blanche Eller and Esther Shepherd Eller.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Gregory Lyall (Mandy) of Clemmons and Kevin Lyall of Winston-Salem; and her grandson Pierce Lyall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
