She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Granville Davis and Ethel Church Davis; her husband Thomas Ralph Blackburn; and her siblings, William Davis, Lucille Mims and Levon Jurich.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Ralph Blackburn Jr. (Shirley) of Raleigh and Sandra Edwards (Eddie) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Lora Artemenko (Alex) of Thomas Blackburn, III, Matthew Edwards (Inna) and Jonathan Edwards (Luli); and her great grandchildren, Daniel Artemenko, Caleb Artemenko and Llewyn Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkin Valley Baptist Church, 284 Fox Road, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 or Cricket Baptist Church, 148 Cricket Baptist Church Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
