We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 70, Barbara Lou Elliott Barnette of Millers Creek, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Oscar Elliott and Carol Hayes Elliott; her husband Wayne Barnette; and her grandson Cameron Steven Cox. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Cox (Brooke) of Wilkesboro, Adrian Cox of Wilkesboro and Brian Cox of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Chloe Cox of Wilkesboro, Connor Cox of Wilkesboro, Katy Cox of Wilkesboro, Logan Cox of Millers Creek and Camdyn Key of Wilkesboro; and her siblings, Linda Davis (Danny) of Shelby, Wayne Elliott (Lynnete), Davidson, Johnny Elliott and Kevin Cleary of Charlotte.
