It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvil Alan Sheets of Millers Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Sheets and Nannie Belle Wyatt Sheets; his wife Pauline Mash Sheets; and his brother Jerry Garland Sheets. He is survived by: his children, Steve Alan Sheets (Tracey) of Millers Creek and Debbie Sheets Avery (Roger) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Luke Sheets of Millers Creek, Danielle Sheets of Millers Creek, Shaun Weaver of Moravian Falls and Wendy Weaver Blanton (Nate) of Virginia; his great grandchildren, Mollie Rose Blanton, Morgan Blanton and Mason Blanton; and his sister Helen Elledge of Wilkesboro.
