It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Searcy of Mill Spring, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Harold Johnson; and her sister Martha Aileen Cooper. She is survived by: her mother Frances McSwain; her husband Billy Searcy; her children, Brandi Thompson of Landrum, Donald Rhymer of Campobello, Kenneth Thompson (Stephanie) of Campobello, Cory Thompson (Erin) of Tryon and Wayne Lockhart (Amber) of Campobello; her stepson Robbie Searcy (Emily) of Mill; and her sisters, Helen Horton of Landrum, Ellen Greene (Randy) of Tryon and Teresa Doll (Mike) of Inman. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
