He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Kilch Gauen; his sons, Curt Gauen (Carolyn) of Indianapolis, IN and Tim Gauen (Beth) of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Pat Gauen (Karen) of Rochester, MN and Vicki Durham (Dean) of Collinsville, IL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
