He is survived by: his wife Betty Murray Denton; his children, Lewis Denton of Mill Spring, Gail Dyer (John) of Green Creek and Glenda Calton (Jonathan) of Bostic; his grandchildren, Johnlewis, Larry, Luke, Noah, Lea Ann and Nathan; his great grandchild Asher; and his brother Harry Denton of Columbus.
