He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Ray Poteat and Sandra Bolt Poteat of Mill Spring; his siblings, Nathan Poteat (Tricia), Josh Poteat and Savannah Poteat; his nieces, Mackenzie Poteat, Abigail Poteat and Emmylou Poteat; his nephew Niko; and his grandfather Ray Poteat.
