It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Allen Leavitt of Mill Spring, North Carolina, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Benjamin and Eve Pokross Leavitt; his wife Virginia Kozlow Leavitt; his son Daniel Leavitt; and his brother James Leavitt (Joan).
