She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse LeRoy Fowler and Bertha Teague Fowler; her husband Salvador Tolerico; and her stepmother Eva Fowler. She is survived by: her daughter Emily Higgins of Mill Spring; her stepchildren, Salvador Tolerico, Jr. of North Carolina, Todd Tolerico (Vicki) of St. Augustine, Florida and Cathy Tarrant of Daytona Beach, Florida; her brothers, Richard Fowler (Edith) of Inman and Jesse Fowler (Donna) of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Richard Higgins, Katina Higgins, Ray Deal, Jr., Robert Deal and Virginia Richins. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
