She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvin Lee and Lola Mae Gibbs Pace; her husband Rev. Leroy Gilbert; her son Robert Allen Gilbert; and her brothers, Garvin Lee "G. L." Pace, Jr. and Forrest Lee "Bud" Pace.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Dean Gilbert, Rebecca Ann Stiles, Janet Lynn Pope and Jennifer Gail Price; and her siblings, Richard Allen Pace, Patricia Rickman and Ailene Wilson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cane Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
