She was predeceased by: her parents, Evertt Mathis and Edith Mathis; her siblings, Letha Mathis Scruggs and Spencer Lovelace; and her grandson Killian Conner.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Keeter Adams and Charles Gary Ridge II; her sister Liz Mathis Owens; and her grandchildren, Christian Conner, Steven Ridge and Rebecca Downey. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
