It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buster Wilson (Mill Spring, North Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Harvey Wilson and Ollie May Searcy; his son Dwayne Allen Wilson; his daughter-in-law Barbara J. Wilson; and his siblings, Tommy, Wayne, Calvin Wilson, Violet Jackson, Grace Marlowe and Iona Nelon.
He is survived by: his wife Ailene Pace Wilson; his children, Michael Wilson, Sheila Whitmire (Glenn) of Sunny View and Rhonda Rimer (Keith) of Sunny View; his grandchildren, Ryan Wilson (Lindsay) of Easley, S. C., Lucas Whitmire (Clarissa) of Brisbane, Kristin Montgomery (Chris) of Green Creek, Lauren Abril (Chris) of Sunny View, Patrick Rimer (Hannah) of Columbus, Wilson Rimer (McKenzie) of Hendersonville and Evan Rimer (Anna) of Cary; and his great grandchildren, River, Rowan Wilson, Grant, Emma Whitmire, Khloe, Camden, Kenna, Carter, Colton Montgomery, Chandler, Finn, Hallie, Hayden Abril, Trey, Tenley, Tessa Rimer and Tate Rimer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
