He is survived by: his children, Phillip "Mac" McAbee (Sue) of Green Creek, Tammie "Tambo" Landreth (Whit) of Pendleton and Nickie McAbee (Beannie) of Spartanburg; his sisters, Rachel Wilson of Mill Spring and Libby McAbee of Albemarle; his grandchildren, LeAnne Goss (Corey) of Greenville, Jennifer McAbee (Jaden) of Hawaii, Dalton Landreth of Townville, Chase Landreth (Marissa) of Pendleton, Navy (Hannah) of Florida, Charlie Brady of Covington, Jaylan Brady of Spartanburg, Ava Brady of Spartanburg and Savannah Brady of Spartanburg; and his great grandchildren, Koen Landreth, Nova Landreth and Gracyn Landreth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the McFarland Funeral Chapel (54 McFarland Dr, Tryon, NC 28782). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
