He is survived by: his father John Perry McDowell (Rosa Lee); his wife Rebecca McDowell; his children, Bryan McDowell (Paige) and McKenzie Hall (Tyler); and his grandchildren, Oakley, Brantley, Bristol, Briley, Braxton and Silas.
