He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Thomas and Annie Bell Pritchard Hudson; his son Scott Hudson Price; and his siblings, Betty Jean Black, Thomas Hudson, Troy Hudson and Chester Hudson.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Robert Hudson (Caroline) of Atlanta, GA, Joshua P. Hudson (LaShea) of Polk County, NC, Alecia Mergenthaler (Eddie) of South Carolina and Chris Hudson Price (Mary) of Kentucky; and his siblings, Doris McDade (Lewis), Larry Hudson (Brenda), Patricia McDaniel (Tim), Ray Hudson (Rebecca), Wayne Hudson, Terry Hudson (Marilyn), Randy Hudson (Anita), Robin Smith (Richard) and Tammy Waldrop (Neal). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
