He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sanford Thomas and Lillie Loggins Thomas; and his wife Betty Clontz Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Lawana McCall (Douglas) of Stanfield, NC and Selina Connell (Butch) of Locust, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan Ford (Kathie), Alicia Morrow (Matthew) and Kristen Pugh; his great grandchildren, Mason Ford McCall, Dylan Morrow, Lilah Morrow, Jackson Pugh, Maddox Pugh, Haley Kiser, Noah Kiser and Colby Kiser; and his great great grandchild Brantley Watts. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces, Nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County who tremendously helped during his final days.
