It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Dillard of Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles and Margaret Smith; her parent Kathryn Smith; and her grandson Jimmie Furr. She is survived by: her friends, Barbara Clary and Miriam Lewis; her caregiver Jimmie Wayne Dillard; her daughters, Diana Brown (Danny) and Heidi Brown (James); her grandchildren, Jonny (Alina), Nicole, Jessica, Alecia, Emma and Avery; and her great grandchildren, Trinity, LillyBelle, Tristan and Bradley. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland (13575 Broadway Ave, Midland, NC 28107). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Jack Hartsell Memorial Chapel (13575 Broadway Ave, Midland, NC 28107). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023).
