He was predeceased by: his son Brian Monroe Medlin; and his brother Donald Medlin. He is survived by: his wife Jane Medlin; his daughter Melanie Medlin Hall (Michael); his grandchildren, Justin Hall, Ashley Spence (Alan), Logan Fulton and Brandon Fulton; his sisters, Loretta Calloway, Norma Osborne and Mary Pondo; and also, Melissa Medlin Fulton and Jon Shaben.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to the Little Church on the Lane.
