He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Alice Russell of Midland, NC.; and his sister Mary Lockett (Edward). He is survived by: his children, Kia Lawton (Michael) of Concord, NC and Gabriel Russell (Karen) of Fayetteville, GA; the mother of his children Rose Morgan Russell of Charlotte, NC; his brothers, Kenneth, Alfred, Pierre (Beverly), Bobby (Angela) and Robby (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Yaminah Russell, Nathan Lawton, Kamryn Lawton and Inara Russell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
