She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Hargett; and her parent Ruby McLean Thomas. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Thomas of Fairview, NC and Suzanne Thomas Matonti (Phil Matonti) of Seattle, WA; her nephew Ben Thomas of Morrisville, NC; her niece Jennifer Thomas Hrischenko (George Hrischenko) of Charlotte, NC; and her great-nieces, Leigh, Kelly, Alison and Jazzy.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Union County Hospice or Benton's Cross Roads Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Friedreich's Ataxia.
