She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Asbury Boyd and Annie Mae Wyatt Boyd; and her husband Robert "Rob" Hartsell, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lisa H. Edwards (Jim) of Concord, NC, Robert "Bobby" G. Hartsell, Jr. of Midland, NC and Larry Glenn Hartsell of Midland, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
