It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Brantley (Middlesex, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bernice and Mecie Cone Brantley; and his siblings, Charles Cone, Katie Bunn and Millie Kay Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Strickland Brantley; his son Mike Brantley (Cindy) of Middlesex; his siblings, Harold Brantley (Ann) of Zebulon, Mable Short (Newt) of Apex and Judy Gay of Wendell; his grandchildren, Casey Weaver (Bobby) and William Brantley; his great grandchild Woods Weaver; and his pets, Rosie and Bootsie.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Pine Ridge Baptist Church flag initiative.
