She was predeceased by: her parents, BJ Bunn and Velma Hill Bunn. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Elliott (Christy) of Wendell and Zack Elliott (Suzanne) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Colin Elliott, Amelia Elliott, Abby Elliott and Emma Lynn Elliott; her sisters, Susan Lucas (Phil) of Bailey, Sandra Lucas (Mike) of Nashville and Betty Davis of Wilson; and her close friend Kathy Phillips of Lucama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
