He was predeceased by: his wife Dortha Manning; his daughter Toni Kay Babin; his grandson Mike Babin; his parents, Leslie Franklin and Nora Manning; and his siblings, Mable Price, Blanche Price and Author Manning.
He is survived by: his son Leslie Howard Manning (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Sylvia Joyner, Brandon Manning, Rick Babin and Chris Babin; his great grandchildren, Seth Babin, Kelsi Prince, Liam Anderson and Mason Ray Manning; his brother Howard Manning (Sara); and his son-in-law Richard Babin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
