She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Lee Brown; her parents, Robert Hood and Annie Estridge Hood; and her sister Margaret Creech. She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Moore of Rocky Mount and Lola Brown of Middlesex; her grandchildren, Stephanie Young of Bailey, Dillon Moore of Rocky Mount and Michael Moore of Mississippi; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Tabitha, Brinley and Mazie Kate Moore; her sister Barbara Nell Strickland of Middlesex; her cousin Johnnie Strickland; her child Box; and also Joanne Pope.
