We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 71, Joyce Palk Hooks of Middlesex, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vestle Edward Palk and Wilma Jaquess Ward; and her sister Teresa Paige. She is survived by: her sons, Edward Eatmon, Lee Eatmon (Nikki) and David Eatmon; her siblings, Robert Palk and Cheryl Rex; and her grandchildren, Taylor Knight, Justin Eatmon, Brittany Joyner, Cambree Eatmon, Patrick Eatmon, Jonathan Batchelor, Destiney Sims, Justin Sims and Preston Sims. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
