He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd W. Strickland and Olzie P. Strickland; his daughter Dianne; and his siblings, Willis Strickland and Gertrude Saunders.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Boykin Strickland; his children, Kathy Byrns (Dale) and Brooks Strickland; his grandchildren, Andrea Edwards (Chris) and Stephen Byrns; his great grandchild Kristen Gupton (Colby); and his sister-in-law Catherine Strickland.

While there will not be a family visitation due to Covid-19, you are welcome to stop by the funeral home on Thursday, December 3.
