She was predeceased by: her husband K. K. Griffin; her daughter Judy Lewis; her grandson Phillip Denton; and her brothers, Arnold Bradley and Buddy Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Ava Dale Griffin of Wilson and Randy Douglas Griffin (Rhonda) of Middlesex; her grandchildren, Randy Griffin, Jr., Amanda Griffin, Amy Lewis, Shane Lewis, Andy Lewis and Van Lewis; her niece Gail Thorne; and her siblings, Jessie Wiggs of Louisburg, Joyce Eason of Wilson, Marion Bradley of Bailey, Cathy Coble of Mt. Pleasant and Jerry Feree of Siler City. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
