She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Wright Massengill and Hettie Yelverton Massengill; her husband John Calvin Parker; her sons, Wayne and Bennie Vick; her brother Glenn Massengill; her stepson James O. Edwards, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Joshua Edwards and Trishia White.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Mitchell (Lonnie) of Middlesex, Ann Cooke (Ken Halbrook) and Thomas Ricky Vick (Michelle) of Archer, Florida. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggest contributions be made to Gentiva Hospice Care, 208 Butternut Lane, Clayton, NC 27520.
