The memory of Hazel Eloise Parker of Middlesex, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Wright Massengill and Hettie Yelverton Massengill; her husband John Calvin Parker; her sons, Wayne and Bennie Vick; her brother Glenn Massengill; her stepson James O. Edwards, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Joshua Edwards and Trishia White.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Mitchell (Lonnie) of Middlesex, Ann Cooke (Ken Halbrook) and Thomas Ricky Vick (Michelle) of Archer, Florida. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home and Cremations (105 E 1st St, Princeton, NC 27569). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel (105 E 1st St, Princeton, NC 27569). A committal service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Massengill Cemetery (2-198 Eugene Walker Ln, Princeton, NC 27569).
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggest contributions be made to Gentiva Hospice Care, 208 Butternut Lane, Clayton, NC 27520.
