He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Upchurch and Lottie Mae Jones Upchurch; and his son Shane Upchurch. He is survived by: his wife Sheree Upchurch; his daughter Heather Upchurch; his stepson Tom Hicks (Laurelei Hicks); and his grandsons, Bryson Hicks and Brody Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lee's Chapel (14551 Taylors Mill Rd, Middlesex, NC 27557).
