He is survived by: his father Robert Hales; his wife Rosa Carter Hales; his children, Kayla Hales and Carson Hales; and his sister Kimberly Hales Roberts (Christopher Todd Roberts) of Middlesex. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and great niece.
